“In the year 2013, I took a journey of a lifetime to redefine the beauty and worth of my life. I spent 11 months traveling to 11 different countries around the world on a mission trip called The World Race.
Everywhere I traveled, God showed up in ways that I had only heard about in the Bible. I experienced the Holy Spirit helping me preach to a village in India, I saw friends healed from diseases like Malaria, and I witnessed God at work in the poorest countries where the most desperate people resided.
The idea of Dove Feather comes from the image of power given to Jesus after His baptism when the Holy Spirit descended upon Him in the form of a dove. When I look at a dove, I see how it represents the Holy Spirit empowered body of Christ today. Every feather must work together to keep the bird in motion.
By looking at myself as one dove feather, I see you as a vital part of helping me keep the body of Christ in motion. I want to empower, encourage, and teach you about your identity as a son or daughter. I want you to know your worth, because after you understand it, freedom is the only thing left.
I’m excited to announce that I am now a full time, 100% supported missionary with Adventures in Missions, the founders of the World Race. I serve as the executive assistant to the Vice President and Director of Long Term Missions, Clint Bokelman. I’d like to invite you into my life, my stories, my travels, and let you see what an amazing transformation the Holy Spirit has made. Let me share my stories with you, one dove feather at a time.”
